Year after year the Strawberry Farm Glantz is inviting to Delingsdorf for their traditional farm festival. From the 11th till 13th of August the Schleswig-Holstein community at the outskirts of Hamburg is transforming itself into a Mekka for day trippers and horse enthusiasts. Enno Glantz is linking two worlds, that of event and strawberry hungry families with the world of topsport in horse jumping and dressage on his spacious areal.”I always had two passion in my life: strawberries and horses”, says Enno Glantz. “To me it’s only logical to create an event that combines both.”
The horse tournament

Awarding the „Golden Strawberry“
Traditionally a character from the equestrian scene is honored since 2015. Enno Glantz is founding the with 1500,- Euro endowed “Golden Strawberry” to their honors. The prize winner is deciding to where the money is used. Following jumping legend Achaz von Buchwald (2015) and Peter Luther (2016) in 2017 a big player of the dressage is being honored: Ullrich Kasselmann. The household name of Kasselman is worldwide renowned for first class equestrian sport. For more than three decades Ullrich and his wife Bianca Kasselmann together with their son Francois are training sport horses on the highest level and made his Farm Kasselman an internationally well known trademark. Already at an early age Kasselmann knew he’d make his passion for horses his everyday occupation. He learned his trade from the acknowledged hippologist Hans-Joachim Köhler in Verden. There Kasselmann was a successful auction rider for 18 years. People by the likes of Harry Boldt, Bubi Günther or Willi Schultheiß molded him and gave him requisite know-how to train horses up to Grand-Prix maturity. Kasselmann is an expert par excellence and an internationally familiar horseman, who already received the FN riders cross in Gold. The ceremony held to his honor at the Strawberry Farm Glantz comprises, apart from the award of the “Golden Strawberry” this year, the laudatio from top manager and Kasselmanns friend Dr. Rüdiger Grube and a Grand Tattoo. Enno Glantz: ”I hope for the “Golden Strawberry” to be establishing itself as price and that many great personalities, who distinguished themselves for the horse scene to be honored with it.”
