The Westphalian Equestrian Centre in Münster-Handorf is
once again the meeting place and an absolute must for all breeders and stallion
owners of riding stallions on the 25th until the 27th of
November 2013 for the Westphalian main licensing for riding horses.
From 4.700 foals in 2011, 232 were presented as youngsters at the pre-selection
in October. 79 of the youngsters received the permission for the main licensing
by the licensing committee. Therefore it can be insured, that an extraordinary
high class stallion collection will wow the crowd this November. Vitalis by
Vivaldi, the reserve winning stallion in 2008, has five of his offspring at
this year’s main licensing. In the category of the show jumping stallions Balous
Bellini, Carento, Cornado I, Cornet Obolensky and Darco
will be presenting offspring at the licensing.
After the first inspection (on hard ground) and the second inspection (free
running and walking round) on Monday (25.11) the day will end with a get
together in the marquee. After the third inspection (free jumping) on Tuesday
the 26th of November, the licensing decision will be announced. At 8
pm the second day will end with a breeders evening at the restaurant
Sudmühlenhof. The Wednesday (27.11) will start with the opportunity to lounge
the stallions. The premium stallions will be announced and awarded around 11
o’clock. After the award ceremony a breeding and sports presentation of top
stallions will follow. The auction for licensed and non-licensed stallions starts
at 3 pm.
More information of all the stallions can be found on our
website www.westfalenpferde.de.
