Longines FEI/WBFSH World Breeding Dressage Championships for Young Horses
From the 28th until the 31st of July 2016, the prestigious FEI World Breeding Dressage Championships for Young Horses is organized at the National Equestrian Centre in Ermelo. This centre, covering a surface of 60 acres, was officially opened by King Willem-Alexander in 2014 and provides an incredible setting for this championship.
The best dressage prospects in various age categories compete for the highest honour. In an individual dressage test the talents are judged on general impression as dressage horse. From 2016 onwards the international equestrian federation FEI added the seven-year-old category to the four-day event, next to the already existing five- and six-year-old championships.
